Two houses combined, one big stay
What if, this time, everyone were together under the same roof?
Villa Marceau brings our two houses, Raphaël and Auguste, together. Everyone keeps their own habits and quiet corner, and yet the whole group gathers around the big table.
The large two-level living area opens onto the terrace and the 400 m² south-facing enclosed garden. A guinguette mood on both terraces, a crackling fire pit, games of pétanque at sunset, and summer evenings that linger gently on, full of laughter and shared drinks.
When it’s time to rest, five elegant bedrooms, including two suites with private bathrooms, await you with premium bedding: three king-size beds and two queen-size beds.
To round off the day, the sauna is there all year round; from May to the end of September, the indoor pool and its hot tub take over.
Two days for ten
Friday evening, everyone arrives: dinner at the big table, then the sauna. Saturday, Chartres market or Rambouillet Forest, with pétanque and a barbecue when you get back; from May to September, the pool in the afternoon. Sunday, brunch in the courtyard before heading home.
What is allowed at the Villa
Dinner all together, a small birthday celebration, drinks in the garden: the Villa is made for it. Ten people at most on site, guests included. Music outside until 9 pm, then indoors. Quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am, for the neighbours and the horses. No parties and no outside guests.

A countryside to share between Chartres and Rambouillet
In the village of Écrosnes, 1 hr 20 min from Paris, Villa Marceau is a great base for exploring the region as a group.
The Château de Rambouillet and its Queen’s Dairy are 20 minutes away, the formal French gardens of Maintenon 25 minutes away: plenty to fill the days for young and old alike.
For a memory to share, take a hot-air balloon flight over the Château de Maintenon, or listen to the stags’ rutting call in the Rambouillet forest, from September to October.
And for an unusual day out, explore Bonneval, the “Little Venice of the Beauce”, by canoe.
